Quality let it down

I bought the 13 draw unit which is ideal for my needs and the boxes are an excellent size. The trouble came with assembly, the quality left a lot to be desired. For example there was such a large build up of power coating (4-5 mm) in the corner of the top plate I had to spend quite a bit of time with an old wood chisel removing it before I had any chance of putting it together. Similarly the threads into which the castors were screwed were not square to the frame and there were other issues trying to get the rails in place which required a bit of filing. I'm happy with the finished unit but given the price, the assembly process and apparent quality left a bad taste in the mouth.

Great Revised Product

This was our second purchase of these - and after the first batch we were a little bi spprehensive about the assembly process! What a great susprise the team at BigDug have obviously listened to the feedback and have had holes redrilled and now the sets come with the necessary nuts and bolts to do the job not just a random selection:-) Very pleased with these.
