Good value shelves doing the exact job I want
Our shelves arrived well packaged and with good instructions which were backed up with pitcutres. However the guage of the vertical struts were not what i would have expected. They could have been thicker. That said, the shelves are doing their job when put together. We've bought shelves from Big Dug before and they were fine.
Wouldn’t recommend these shelving unit.. Metal frames very flimsy. Not really suitable for what i needed them for.. Disappointed.

Unfortunately I ticked the wrong box when ordering and ended up with a grey shelf rather than blue!
Bought to replace plastic shelving which had buckled. Took a while to assemble all by myself, but it seems stronger than the original shelving, and looks neat in my shed, which is what I was aiming for.
You get what you pay for - this is a bit flimsy but for a ‘garage’ shelf it is entirely adequate for what we needed and we were only putting some flower pots and garden fertiliser etc on it - nothing too heavy ….
Brilliant shelving for a shed. Perfect height to go along the sides. In an 8ft shed you fit 3 of these along one side perfectly. So much storage!!
After a hiccup with missing items due to the courier, BigDug were quick to send the shortfalls.
When you start to assemble the shelving, it seems pretty weak and flimsy. Once the pieces are together and the shelves are in place, it is rather a substantial item. I have loaded mine up with weights varying from 10 to 75kg and its quite solid.
On the whole, they're a reasonable stack of shelves, and reasonably priced, so I'm quite happy. They do the job and are easy to assemble.
The only caveat was the £15 delivery charge!! Quite expensive considering the price of the shelving!! And Tuffnels were the ones that damaged the packaging and lost most of the parts!!
Arrived damaged by courier. Box handed to me with undamaged side facing up. My fault for not seeing. Metal uprights v flimsy and twisted. But you get what you pay for. I did buy other shelving too from big dug, more sturdy ones and that are excellent. So pay a bit more is my advice
Did the job, exactly what it says and easy to put up.
Bought two for our shed, & they fit perfectly & have helped tidy everything up. Good, sturdy shelves, great value for money, excellent service. Can highly recommend both the product & the company.

Hard to think of how these could be better value. I wanted the 30cm depth (I have several of the bigger units already) to maximise width in a garage. They go up dead easy, feel solid and take a lot of gear. Perfect, no complaints.
Have used taller units in garage and put some of the less expensive shelves up in shed. Easy to assemble and good and sturdy.
For a Relatively small product was charged nearly the same as the product cost in postage by ordering directly from big dug.
Subsequently found big dug shelving is available post free on amazon.
On courier arrival, box was damaged, open, with parts missing.
It had turned up a few days before couriers confirmed date and abandoned quickly with a neighbour.
Big dug pretty efficient on refund.
Have used big dug in past and been pleased with service/products however on this case their choice of courier let them down, for amount charged would have expected silver service.
I have no reason to doubt that the quality of the product on this occasion would have been different to previous.
